We have been out in the garden today working like heroes and it has been a great day.

The Easter is over, but the Spring is here and we are all so happy for it is weekend too. On top of that my wedding ring that was lost in the snow in Mandal is recovered. It was found on the same spot that I lost it in 2 month ago, but because there was so much snow then it was impossible to look for it.

This picture is from 1963 and it is four generations in it with me as the little one.

This is as far back I can remember in time. The picture is from when I was about two and a half years old. It is also the first picture in colours of me and I remember that I wasn’t sitting on the carpet because there were one or two ants on the rocks behind it.

We are back from Stockholm and we did walk over this bridge several times. The workers did work on the rails between the passing of the trains and it did seems like a dangerous place to be, but there was always one who did have a lookout for the other two that was working so I guess that they had the right routines in place.

The carnival is since 1974, a yearly tradition in Hammarkullen. The carnival was started by youth and adults through “Frisco project” on Hammarkullens leisure farm, where the first spring carnival was held. In the late 70s they made a stop for 2 years. Since 1979 have the Latin American organization participated with special dances and costumes. For every year the arrangement has grown and developed to What it has been today; a wide cultural folk festival. It is easy to understand that Hammarkull child is pride over ‘hers’ carnival and its neighborhood. Link to more pictures and informations.
