The carnival is since 1974, a yearly tradition in Hammarkullen. The carnival was started by youth and adults through “Frisco project” on Hammarkullens leisure farm, where the first spring carnival was held. In the late 70s they made a stop for 2 years. Since 1979 have the Latin American organization participated with special dances and costumes. For every year the arrangement has grown and developed to What it has been today; a wide cultural folk festival. It is easy to understand that Hammarkull child is pride over ‘hers’ carnival and its neighborhood. Link to more pictures and informations.

I haven’t had meat for awhile since it’s too expensive – I’m drooling now! It looks like a nice glaze on it. The cook looks like he enjoys his food!!

That meat looks delish!! For the last few Fridays, I find myself having a desire to have some ribs so I would go to the food van in town and get me some bar-b-que ribs and potato salad. Yum!
